Adding and reordering blocks

Blocks are the building blocks of your form — each block represents a single question or input field.

Adding blocks

There are three ways to add a block:

  1. From the sidebar — In the left panel, you'll find the block library organised by category (Text Inputs, Choices, Contact Info, Other). Click or drag a block type onto the canvas.
  2. Using the "+" button — Click the "+" icon that appears between blocks on the canvas to insert a new block at that position.
  3. Drag from sidebar to canvas — Drag a block type from the sidebar and drop it exactly where you want it on the canvas.

Reordering blocks

To change the order of blocks:

  1. Hover over the block you want to move
  2. Grab the drag handle (the six-dot grid icon on the left side)
  3. Drag the block to its new position
  4. Release to drop it

The canvas will show a blue indicator line where the block will land.

Yes — sign up with email or Google in under a minute. The free plan gets you 5 forms and 10,000 responses per month with no credit card required.

Not yet — layout is locked when you create the form. We're working on a converter. For now, the workaround is to duplicate the form into the other layout and copy blocks across.

Templates only appear in the creation wizard. To start over from a template, create a new form. Your existing form isn't lost — it stays in the sidebar.
