Each block can have its own visual styling independent of the form style.
Block background colour
Click on a block to select it, then use the block styling controls to set a custom background colour. This creates a coloured card behind the block, useful for highlighting important questions or creating visual sections.
Spacing controls
If spacing handles are enabled (toggle in Account settings), you'll see draggable handles around each block:
- Top spacing — Drag the top handle to increase or decrease the space above the block
- Horizontal padding — Drag the side handles to adjust left/right padding
- Top padding — Drag the inner top handle to adjust padding inside the block
Resetting spacing
To reset all blocks back to default spacing, go to Account settings and click "Reset all spacing to defaults". This affects all forms in your account.
Tips
- Use background colours sparingly — too many colours can look cluttered
- Consistent spacing makes forms feel more professional
- The default spacing works well for most forms
