If you change a colour or apply a style and the form looks unchanged, walk through these checks.
Are you looking at the preview or the published form?
The builder preview updates in real time. The published form only updates after you click Update in the toolbar — until then, public visitors still see the previous published version.
Fix: click Update.
Are you on a cached page?
Some browsers and CDNs cache form pages aggressively. After updating, open the public URL in an incognito window or hard-reload (Ctrl+Shift+R / Cmd+Shift+R).
Did you save the style?
In the Current tab of the Style panel, colour changes apply to the preview but are only saved when you click Save changes. Navigating away without saving discards the change.
Is a per-block override winning?
Individual blocks can override the form's style with their own background colour. If a specific block isn't changing colour with the rest of the form, check that block's settings panel for a manually-set background.
