Help Center menu

Command palette (Ctrl/Cmd+K)

The command palette is the fastest way to jump around NodumForms — no clicking through menus.

Opening

Press Ctrl+K (Windows / Linux) or Cmd+K (Mac) anywhere in the app. The modal opens with focus already in the search field.

The palette indexes four kinds of things at once:

  • Forms — match by form name. Press Enter to open the form in the builder.
  • Responses — match by date or by any text inside the response answers. Press Enter to open that submission's detail panel.
  • Questions — match by block question text across any of your forms. Useful when you remember "I had a question about pricing somewhere" but not which form.
  • Actions — quick navigation targets ("Go to billing", "Create new form", "Open dashboard").

Scoping with prefixes

Type a slash prefix to narrow the search:

  • /forms — only match forms
  • /responses — only match responses
  • /questions — only match questions
  • /actions — only match nav actions

So /forms contact finds every form with "contact" in its name without surfacing matching responses.

Keyboard navigation

Use and to move between results, Enter to open, Esc to close.

Other shortcuts

Press Ctrl+Alt+/ to open the full keyboard shortcuts modal — handy when you're learning the app.

FAQs

The three tabs (Dashboard, Forms, Settings) are fixed, but you can drag forms within the Forms tab to reorder them. Dragging persists across reloads.

The sidebar shows your most recent forms. Older ones are still on your Dashboard, and you can use search (Ctrl/Cmd+K) to jump to any form by name regardless of how long ago you opened it.

The dashboard, responses, and account pages are fully redesigned for mobile (see the May 2026 update on the changelog). The form builder itself still requires a desktop browser — squeezing a block menu onto a phone is on the roadmap.
